Tips for Good Skin: Part 1

Laser Radiofrequency Laser

This is the first in a series of tips for having healthy glowing skin.

Use SPF daily – even in winter

You can still be susceptible to UV damage on overcast days, and even in winter. Daily use of sunscreen, even when it’s not  sunny, can help to prevent significant damage.

Concerned about low vitamin D levels? Expose a larger body area (ie arms / legs) for a shorter period of time – 20 minutes is plenty. Also consider increasing healthy nutritional sources of vitamin D, such as fatty fish, mushrooms or eggs.

We recommend:

  • Rationale PhotoDynamic Light Activated Day Cream SPF 15 harnesses the power of light to simultaneously rejuvenate the skin and boost Vitamin D levels. Nutrients Zinc and Betacarotene protect and replenish, while light diffusing particles deliver immediate dewy luminosity.
  • Osmosis Shade is a new formulation replacing Osmosis Shelter. It is a broad spectrum physical sunscreen designed for daily use. It protects against the damaging effects of both UVA and UVB rays. This luxurious sunscreen/moisturiser is suitable for all skin types and can be applied under make-up.
  • Anthelios XL Fluid Extreme 30+ has been certified as SPF50+ Very high UVA/UVB protection. This product is already compliant with the new Australian Standard for UVB and UVA efficacy criteria set by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) on 10th November 2012.
