With so many sensational options available, it can be tricky to know which treatment will best help you achieve your cosmetic goals. To make the decision- making process a little easier, we have highlighted our 3 most popular cosmetic treatments and explained why they offer a great return on investment.

1) Micro-needle Fractional Radiofrequency

It’s called The Secret, but many of our customers have cottoned on to the amazing rejuvenating outcomes of this treatment.

The Secret Micro-Needle Fractional RF System helps to tighten and rejuvenate skin by using minimally invasive micro-needles to deliver controlled radiofrequency energy into the skin. The combination of the needling and the heat stimulates collagen and causes collagen contractions over time, hence the lifting and tightening effect. This treatment is perfect for minimising pore size, reducing the appearance of scars and stretch marks, lightening pigmentation, tightening and rejuvenating any skin type, and treating sweaty underarms (Axillary Hyperhidrosis).

Pain factor: We use an anesthetic cream and most people only experience minor discomfort.

Downtime: Allow for up to 24 hours of redness and mild swelling. There is very low risk of side effects and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation – a key difference when compared to IPL and laser. Small micro-crusts may form, but they’re usually gone within two days.

Recommended treatment: Depends on the individual, but usually three to five treatments are required.

2) Laser Genesis

Coming in at number two on our hot list is Laser Genesis.

This non-invasive laser option is extremely popular, as there is no downtime and it effectively treats a wide range of concerns. We’ve achieved fantastic results for redness, skin texture issues, pore size concerns, fine lines and wrinkles, acne and scarring.

Pain factor: Zero!

Downtime: None. Some patients have a slight redness that usually disappears within hours.

Recommended treatments: Most people require four to six treatments. You’ll see subtle, consistent results after each treatment.

3) Injectable treatments

Our anti-wrinkle injections and dermal filler treatments are also highly popular.

During our anti- wrinkle injectable treatments, a muscle relaxant is used to smooth lines, such as those created by frowning and smiling. We mostly use Hyaluronic Acid gels for our dermal filler treatments and these are injected under the skin to plump up superficial and deeper lines or rejuvenate specific areas, such as the lips.

Pain factor: Anesthetic is applied prior to treatment, which helps reduce the pain. Patients may experience a short-term burning when dermal fillers are injected into certain areas. Most people find the mild sting of the anti-wrinkle injections tolerable, comparing it to an ant bite that lasts seconds.

Downtime: It’s rare for anti-wrinkle injections to cause any side effects, while filler treatments may cause temporary swelling and occasional bruising that lasts a few days.

Recommended treatments: Our specialists will be able to advise you about treatment timelines, depending on what you’re trying to achieve. You’ll be able to see the results of the dermal fillers immediately and they usually last 6-18 months. It may take two weeks to see the full effect of anti-wrinkle injections.
